Jessica Zelenka, Esq.

Jessica is a graduate of West Virginia University and Suffolk University Law School. While in law school, she worked as a legal advocate in the Boston area, assisting survivors of domestic violence. After graduation she joined the Center for Family Representation, where she represented parents in child neglect and abuse proceedings. She later practiced at boutique matrimonial firms on Long Island, focusing exclusively on Family Law matters, including contested and uncontested divorces, custody, support and orders of protection. In 2025, Jessica was appointed to the Nassau County Attorneys for the Children / Assigned Counsel Panel by the Appellate Division, 2nd Department, where she represents both adults and children in a wide variety of Family Law matters. In addition to caring for her clients, she also fosters dogs through New York Safe Haven Animal Rescue and enjoys helping them find their forever homes. Jessica loves staying active, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Melissa A. Felice (Missy)
Director of Legal Operations and Client Relations
With over two decades of experience in both public service and private practice, Melissa A. Felice brings deep legal and administrative expertise to her role as Director of Legal Operations and Client Relations at Donato Law, Ltd. She oversees client consultations, document preparation, staff training, and ensures that every client receives compassionate, efficient service. Melissa began her career in the New York State Court System while still in high school, igniting her lifelong commitment to justice. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Social Sciences from Nassau Community College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, and Society from Farmingdale State College, where she also minored in Sociology. Known for her leadership, organization, and dedication to client care, Melissa is an indispensable force within the firm. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters and channels her creativity as the lead singer of a local country band.
Alejandrina (Alli)
Legal Assistant
Alejandrina was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She studied law at Universidad Enrique Díaz de León, where she cultivated a strong passion for legal advocacy and debate. In 2023, she represented her school in a Moot Court competition in Costa Rica, earning recognition as Best Oralist for her persuasive advocacy and courtroom presence. She is currently in training at the firm as a paralegal. In addition to her legal pursuits, Alli is deeply committed to music education. A talented singer, she dedicates her time to teaching music and proudly leads a children’s choir, reflecting her belief in mentorship, creativity, and community engagement.
Gabriella (Gabby)
Legal Assistant
Gabriella graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and a minor in Psychology and a Master’s Degree from Long Island University. Dedicated and detail-oriented, Gabriella assists in managing case preparation, client communication, and document organization. She takes pride in helping clients navigate the legal process with understanding and care. In her free time, Gabriella enjoys working out, spending time with family, and discovering new coffee spots on Long Island.

Pilar is a skilled Legal Assistant with a background in marketing and a passion for data-driven decision-making. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Penn State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Decision Analytics at Stony Brook University. Pilar leverages her analytical expertise and attention to detail to support our legal team and contribute to efficient business strategies. When not working, she enjoys reading and engaging in strategic puzzles like sudoku, continually sharpening her problem-solving skills.
